Exit From Wickenburg plot bunnies
Jun. 24th, 2007 03:13 pmIf anybody is stumped for an idea of what to write about for Exit From Wickenburg, I came up with the following plot bunnies as I rewatched the episode:
A future story showing Heyes and Curry being managers of a saloon and/or casino.
I'm sure there are more...
- Dramatize the time when Heyes was with the Plummer gang 10 years earlier, robbed the payroll train, got chased by a posse, split up, and Jim Plummer ended up with the money (Heyes POV?).
- The stories behind how Heyes and Curry learned not to fight it if the cheating going on in a saloon/casino was house policy.
- Dramatize Mary Cunningham losing her husband and having to take over the saloon (we don't know how he died just that he did so four months earlier, we know that Mr. Sloane gave her a loan, we know she tried to get a manager and couldn't, we know she tried to sell the place and couldn't).
- There are a bunch of missing scenes with regard to Willard Sloane (Jim Plummer), as he was a primary mover in the episode, but almost completely unseen (just in one scene).
- Where was Sloane at the beginning? Why did it take him 5 or so days to ask Mary to fire them?
- The scene where he sees Heyes for the first time, and decides what to do about it.
- The scene where he asks Mary to fire them (or did he get Finrock to do it?).
- The scene where Heyes and Curry go around to all the different businesses Sloane owns looking to talk to him, he hears about it and asks Warren Epps his bookkeeper to impersonate him.
- The scene where Sloane buys Mary's saloon.
- I'm sure there are more...
