Beta for Stories and Snippets

Hi,

Is there a member who would be willing to beta my AS&J fic, and maybe a Bonanza story or two? I am a big chicken and like to have someone check over my writing before posting anything. It is much easier to embarrass myself in front of one person than post something with lots of mistakes for everone to read. Although I also write gen, most of the stuff I write is slash so the person would need to be slash friendly.  I'm horrible with punctuation but not too bad at grammar. 

I would also be happy to have someone read over my AS&J fic even if they don't have the time or inclination to beta. If anyone would be willing to give me a general impression of whether I strayed too far with characterization or sappiness, I'd be grateful. It is hard for me to be objective in editing my own writing. I don't always see the problems until they are pointed out. The story is about 6 pages long in Word doc. It is not slash, which is unusual for me, but partner mushy.

Would appreciate the help.

I'd very much like to help, but I'm afraid I'd take too long. I have too little girls and I always seems to be busy. That said, I could read the ASJ and give you my thoughts if you need somebody:) I'm slash friendly, gen friendly, all around friendly;)

I have someone who is willing to do a beta on it, but would not mind another general impression of the story.

I have a bunch of nieces that I adore and they keep me busy when they visit. As do my nephews. I love spoiling them rotten and then giving them back to their parents. :)

Yeah, about giving them back to the parents part? They're probably so grateful you *took* them in the first place - I know I usually am when I get a brek.
