Lately, Equusentric and I have been talking about Roger Davis episodes—and sometimes, I'll admit, I feel quite sorry for RD. It's not his fault that he was better as the Narrator than as Heyes. Or that he's simply NOT Pete Duel. Or that the producers could have considered MANY other options than to  recast Heyes and begin shooting only days after PD killed himself.

So, resolved, I am giving RD a chance—he's faux-Heyes. A distant Kansas cousin whom Kid has never mentioned previously. With the same name, since both Hannibals were named after some great-great grandfather or something.
